• I’ve used Sponge quite a few times over the years for gifts to family and my work team. The Valentines cake cards were brilliant this year with the chocolates and candles and the actual cake was as excellent as ever. Just waiting to order my daughters birthday cake for April, thank you Team Sponge, brilliant service as always!

• Cake card presentation is very good, and the cake is tasty.

• I changed the cakes in my order and in doing so there was a mix up where I only got 1 slice instead of 2, received an email the following day with an apology and a got a voucher for a new cake card which was very kind. Staff great, would definitely use again.

The cakes were presented beautifully in the great card/box and there was a good variety of types of cake to choose from. The cake arrived the day before so mum was able to open it in the morning. • This is a great idea. If you can incorporate seasonal cake slices it would be great. I was looking for Christmas cake last December but didn't find it.
