• Just extra special with card and cake. Lovely surprise for your friends or relatives.

• I've ordered quite a few of these cake cards but for delivery to others so hadnt actually seen them, but I ordered one for my son's birthday and was really impressed with the presentation. He was over the moon with it too. All feedback from everyone I have sent one too has been really good too.

• The cake card is a great birthday surprise! You can personalize it completely so this makes the experience of receiving it a lot more especial than the one you have with a regular birthday card.

• Found out about this company after receiving some cakes after the birth of our daughter. Ordered a few times since then with no issue. Lovely cakes and speedy delivery. Such a good idea, especially just now with not being able to travel to see people.

• This is the second time I've ordered a cake card and again it arrived on time and my Mum loved the cake. It was in perfect condition and really tasty. Will definitely use Sponge again!

• Sent to my 85 year old Step Dad who "didn't want anything" for his Birthday. He "has everything I could possibly want or need" - but guess what - he was "delighted with it" and it was such a "perfect choice!" Trust me, compliments don't come easy from this man. • 'Cake in a card' is a fabulous idea for treating family members and friends, and is suitable for many occasions not just for birthdays!

• This is a wonderful product with the option for sending 2 slices for couples Or someone where one slice just would not suffice, like for instance a son that is 6ft 4" and built like a brick house where one slice would be, by him, considered teasing, especially when the cake is so delicious =D I will most definitely be purchasing more in the future and have already been recommending and will continue. I purchased two of the 2 slice cake card option with one of the two cards being a vegan option. Having the vegan option with a good selection really made the perfect gift to a certain couple for Easter. Arriving on the selected date. Even being able to choose your delivery date is such a bonus. The product is worth every penny, fresh and delicious cake packaged in a way so as to be a card and gift in one. Brilliant idea!

• Well presented as description, Cakes reported to be moist, but after re delivery, Cakes late for Easter and extra cost to me of 1 out of 3 gift cards. One cake was a different one to the one I ordered, which the recipient didn't know about. (Ordered apple crumble cake ...got A coffee one!)
