• Need to deliver on time next time but my friend lived the cake

• Ordered 3 Cake Cards, one for an 18th Birthday and two Christmas Cards and they all went down well with the people who received who thought they were a wonderful surprise and they all said the cake slices were delicious.

• Bought 2 cake and mulled wine Christmas cards for friends. They were both very surprised, loved what they received and commented on what a brilliant idea they where. This is the third time I have used your company and you will certainly be getting repeat orders from me.

• I have ordered lots of these cake cards this year and everyone has been well received ,thank you. The Current situation and the post office are not your friends at the moment!

• My nan thought it was lovely. We couldn't visit her so it was a nice surprise.

• Ordered for a friend that lives in London. Easy from start to finish! Feedback was the cake was delicious and the little extras were a welcomed surprise. Would definitely use again for other friends and family. Would be nice to see how it looks on the site instead of cartoons but that is just me!

• On their website they say that 93% of deliveries arrive on time. I ordered delivery for a Saturday because it was my partner's birthday. The following Tuesday arrived. His birthday was on Sunday. It is a lack of respect. Also, cakes are like eating sugar directly. Not recommended and very dissatisfied.

• The person who received it was very pleased. It was a bit different to receiving a "normal" card and he needed something to cheer him up in these covid-days. I had chosen two different types of cake and he had them on different days with his morning coffee. This is a lovely way of sending a greeting and adding a touch of luxury as we can't go over to visit him at the moment.

• Such a good idea - I sent a double cake card to my son, who is in the army, just because I miss him! I included 2 coffees too and he really appreciated it, he rang me for a chat whilst having a cake and coffee.......it was lovely.

• My daughter in law sent me a cake card back in February, she send me a lovely message and te card said ...love you Mum. I was having a really tough time and my Dad was dying. Her cake card really meant a lot to me and because of how it made me feel I decided to send my family and friends cake cards during lockdown. Everyone loved them...I think I've sent 7 so far and will continue to send them. Thank you Sponge x

• Fine. Nice idea, particularly during lockdown. Delivery was an issue this time.

• This was my second order from Sponge. Both deliveries were on time and extremely well packaged. The sponge cake was soft, fluffy and had a wonderful flavour. The cake card, well it wasn’t for me but I am told it was delicious. It is a very good and different idea. I will be ordering again. Could you please try a sugar free range? I will gladly test it for you...........

• As already stated it was a wonderful way to give my father a taste of celebration remotely but with quality and love.
