• I bought this as a birthday card for my partner as I wasn't sure if we would see each other that morning. When I got back, both slices gone (even though "he doesn't have a sweet tooth"), I wasn't even kept a cup of tea. He did love it. Apparently the cake is very fresh but not so soft that the cake crumbled. I will buy this again, he said it was a lovely unusual surprise.

• This is my favourite product. I've sent so many of these to different people for different reasons and neither I nor they have been disappointed. Fantastic range of cards and sponges, there is something for everyone. I wish someone would send me one!

• Have sent many cake cards throughout lockdown. These have been well recieved and appreciated, the cake cards are a unique and original idea. I will send many more. I cant send one to my husband as he is gluten and dairy free. Although you have a gf df cake it is not available for cake cards. so ordered a glutenfree dairy free elizabeth cake for my husband. I did not enjoy that and will not order it again. If this was available for cake card and id ordered that first, i would never have sent another cake card out to anyone. I love the cake cards but the elizabeth cake is just so.... Mediocre

• Really great idea, totally different from any other postal gifts. Delicious cakes delivered to your door, what’s not to like!

• They loved the cake card. They thought it was an ingenuous idea. They were very happy because they didn't have to eat the same flavoured cake.

• My friend was so excited to receive her cake card as a surprise birthday treat. She enjoyed the two flavours of cake and I thought the millionaires cake looked really different which is why I chose it as one of the slices as I had never seen a piece of cake like it before. Thought it was such a lovely idea to be able to add bonus extras like a candle or balloon. Arrived swiftly to Northern Ireland, even in a global pandemic!
