What size cakes do you sell?

Our chocolate cake comes in a medium, which serves 10-12 people, and weighs 1kg, as well as a large which serves 18-20 and weighs 1.75kg.

How should I store a chocolate cake?

We believe cakes taste best when they arrive, but if needed, you can freeze our chocolate cake for up to six months. Just then defrost for around 10 hours before serving and ensure the cake is up to room temperature before eating.

Can I store a chocolate cake in the fridge?

Storing a cake in the fridge can dry out the cake and give it a dry texture. We would recommend storing in an air-tight container at room temperature. Our cakes will last from around 7 - 10 days from dispatch.

GET THAT SWEET SPOT

Buttercream loves a gentle warm-up, and brownies need a little patience to reach their soft, gooey magic. Our bakes have been chilling in transit and need time to be their best so if your sponge is a little dry give it some more time.

ROOM TEMP, BEST TEMP

Let your bake rest in their packaging for up to 12 hours or when it reaches room temperature. It will then be at its full, fluffy glory. Cake is always at its best when it’s cosy, not chilly.

KEEP IT FRESH

Pop leftovers in an airtight container and store somewhere cool and dry... no fridge chills or sunbathing, please! Keeping them at room temperature keeps your bakes soft, gooey, and full of joy.

FREEZE FOR FUTURE JOY

Celebration postponed? Wrap your cake carefully and freeze for up to six months. When you’re ready, thaw at room temperature to bring back that soft, fresh-baked magic you love.

If you’re ordering for a special occasion you can place your order in advance; we always recommend for big events to select delivery for the day before to ensure the cake gets there in plenty of time and to account for any unforeseen circumstances with delivery.
