• Completely love these cakes, the packaging look and feel is fab and arrived complete unscathed by delivery. Delicious gluten free cake and so nice to have a vegan cake which looks the same. We wish your vegan/gluten free cake didn’t have soya in as would just order that and cater for everyone, but hey - who doesn’t love extra cake when it’s this good.

• always, well presented and tastes delicious. None of the dryness often associated with gluten free. Guests always amazed cake is gluten free.

• I don't know how Sponge make a gluten free sponge taste like a normal delicious sponge, but I suggest, like Coca-Cola and Heinz, they keep the recipe a well guarded secret, because no-one else in the market comes close to the quality of these products.

• Ordered a gluten free Victoria Sponge for Christmas, just myself and one other family member who are intolerant to gluten but the wider family, of all ages, loved it too. Absolutely delicious!

• Cake left with neighbors despite being in. Nice cake, gluten free options are not always edible, these certainly are, but very expensive. Would order more often if cost was more reasonable.

• I am very happy with my cakes. They were both very flavoursome, soft and light. They looked very tidy and kept together well. Was a pleasant surprise to see that it also came with their own boxes. Would deffo try something else from the site.

• We ordered before the dairy free version and it was sublime so we expected even better from a buttery-milky alternative. Actually I would probably rate them the same which is not a bad comment on the dairy version, but high praises on the dairy-free one! We love Victoria sponge. It was slightly dry but that could be because I actually put it in the fridge. Didn't remember how long it stays fresh and because of the dairy I just couldn't see it would last in the warm weather for days without cooling. Once we opened one of the cakes we found the little card explaining but I still don't get how it stays good for a week. Anyhow, great cake and next time I try to trust the instructions better.

• We discovered Sponge some years ago and have enjoyed many a delicious cake. Over the last year I've had to become gluten free, that is very sad times! No more delicious cake, only cardboard, bland, dry cake for me. NO! says Sponge, try this Gluten Free Victoria Sponge..... wow! It was so delicious, I am so happy 😊

• The cake was my mum's birthday. As she is a celiac I ordered the gluten free one. You could not even tell it was gluten free like so many shop bought cakes. It was perfect and would buy again, gluten free or normal.

• My wife had been a bit under the weather and needed cheering up. She's coeliac so is a bit limited to "treats". However I knew she loved the cakes I hot her previously so went for one we haven't tried before. Her favourite is still the g/f coffee but she munched happily through the Victoria sponge and even shared it with me. Bonus!

• It was a lovely light cake with just the right amount of filling, and a perfect size for a small family.
