• Perfect cake that tasted wonderful and apart from the delivery driver leaving it on its side in someone else's shed, that wasn't even in my road or on my list of places to leave. Just lucky that the person who found it didn't decide to keep it. It was for a 60th wedding anniversary and I wouldn't have had time to order another. The names of the roads weren't even similar. It was a road behind my neighbours house with an alleyway between. Not even close. Maybe include what 3 words on the delivery information or a picture of the house to deliver to. Very stressful few hours trying to locate it in my road but it was a different road altogether. But found it eventually. Lovely cakes.

• Very moist cake lasted over a week, good size for two people which is why it lasted, i decorated it with a topper and candle too, very tasty and fluffy and moist delish

• I don't have much experience yet making gluten free cakes so I wanted to make sure the cake for my daughter's 5th birthday party would be perfect. It was her first big party with friends and with a birthday so near Christmas I was getting a bit overwhelmed with all the preparations. I had had Sponge recommended to me by a coeliac friend so I went for the Large Gluten Free Victoria Sponge as I thought this would go down well with everyone and I could just add my own icing/decoration on the top to fit with the party theme. There was plenty of cake for a generous slice in all the party bags and some extra slices that were nibbled on the spot! We even had a chunk left to bring home and it was absolutely delicious. The delivery was fantastic and arrived in good time and well packaged. Will definitely use Sponge again for hassle free delicious gluten free cake!

The ordering and delivery process was really easy to follow and it was so well packaged too, it was a nice touch to have a gift card to go with it and to have whatever message you want instead. • Absolutely delicious gluten free cake. It was beautifully moist, not dry and crumbly like a lot of gluten free food is, especially shop-bought. It tasted like a cake should do. It didn't dry out and stayed moist. Wonderful to have the chance to purchase a gluten free birthday cake for a special occasion for a relative with Coeliac Disease. • Was blown away by the quality and taste of this cake. My daughter was just diagnosed coeliac a few months ago and I was struggling to find a nice cake at a reasonable price, bearing in mind for the last 17 years she has one slice of birthday cake and finds them too sickly......this cake she loved and has had way more than 1 slice!!! In fact the whole family loved it. Will be buying again, easy to order, well packaged. Family couldnt believe it had arrived in the post!

• I ordered a gluten free Victoria Sponge because I have a friend who cannot tolerate gluten. She often misses out when we gather. The cake was well presented and cut easily. It was slightly too sweet for me but everyone else commented how lovely it was. There was some left and so the birthday girl took some home and my gluten free friend had the rest.

• My girlfriend is a celiac and we found your website a few years ago because you offered a great selection of gluten free cakes. The cakes are always top quality, not the dry kind you usually get with gluten free options and it’s now become a birthday tradition to purchase her cake from Sponge. As a non-celiac, I can’t tell the difference as the cake was tasty and great, if not better, than other cakes I’ve had. Highly recommended. :)

• The gluten free cake was perfect for a special occasion, the 16 portions were a good size, the jam and buttercream filing was delicious, the sponge was amazing considering it was gluten free and not a 'normal' sponge cake. The gluten free member of the family and the non-coeliacs all enjoyed it. We would definitely place another order in the future.
