• Looked like a lot of time and care went into my order I was very happy with the whole process and yes the cake was delicious

• Cakes taste true to their flavour, presentation of the cakes whether big or small is exactly as shown when ordering. Moist big sponges and the fillings are tasty too.

• The red velvet cake for my daughters 21st birthday arrived on time and in perfect condition and looked amazing. The quality of the cake was perfect but the frosting/icing was not or did not taste at all like cream cheese which is the unique quality of red velvet cake which my daughter loves and who noticed straight away as it is her favourite. It simply tasted of beautifully of made vanilla butter icing so lost it’s unique taste attraction which is disappointing

• So I didn't want to order a birthday cake from a local supermarket but during lockdown, getting out and about is hard with two young children in toe. So I found this place with Google search and did it delivery! I ordered the cake on a specific date - the only down fall was I selected before 12o'clock and it come at 1 o'clock- not a great biggy. I ordered a 8 serving cake for a specific date, 2 candles for just over £21 which I thought was an amazing price! They even threw in some napkins, which I thought was a nice touch. The cake was amazing and the whole family loved it! 10 out of 10 from me. I will definitely consider ordering from here again and not rush to the supermarkets!

• Sponge was moist and icing not too thick! Was fresh and the lasted for a few days after my boy’s birthday!

• I came to Holt a few years back and learned to make perfect sponge cakes. This cake was a special treat for our anniversary - it was so, so special. Utterly delicious, perfect texture and stayed moist for the 4 days we eked it out for - though I could have eaten it for breakfast, lunch and dinner And if you did low-calorie versions I'd be in Cake Club immediately.....just trying to think of a suitable excuse to order the 14 portion sharing cake - not that it would get shared!!
