• I had my reservations about ordering a birthday cake online but really couldn’t be happier. So easy to order and it was delivered on time and in perfect condition and it really was one of the nicest cakes I’ve ever eaten. Can’t wait for the next birthday

• The cake was nice and moist, and the colour was good, with some red velvet cakes they look more chocolate than red velvet but this was just right.

• The cake was sent as a surprise to my twin daughters for their birthday. I didn't personally taste it but their comments are that it was delicious, well packaged and super yummy sponge. The frosting wasn't too sweet which was great, as sometimes they can be sickly. They would definitely recommend to friends and family!

• Really great cake, tasted amazing. Definitely read the instructions and let the cake come to room temperature. We ate a piece from the fridge the next day (still amazing taste) but much better at room temperature.

• Ordered the red velvet cake. Sponge was fantastic, thought the icing was a little lack lustre. It did not add much to the overall sponge and could've done to be a little heavier and creamier to contrast the light sponge better. An option to order just the sponges so buyers could ice themselves might be appreciated.

• Cake was moist and very tasty; Had a "weight" to it which was satisfying. Appearance was also good - lovely red velvet look. Not sure I could have baked one better myself!

• Colour is very appealing the cake had a good standard of topping but not to much to take away the overall appearance of the cake the icing in the middle is of a standard evenly spread and not to sweet the sponge is light and moist and cuts easy the cake when sliced holds together perfectly as a slice and the colour is consistent throughout

• The red velvet cake was lovely presented and moist. It was not too sweet like shop bought cakes . I loved the thickness of the cake and the buttercream. The cake did not taste eggy like shop bought cakes , but tasted like a home made cake which I like. The entire family loved it.

• I ordered the Red Velvet cake for my daughter’s PhD Graduation celebration. Thanks to the pandemic, the Graduation had to be postponed but I wanted to mark the day in as many ways as I could to celebrate her hard work & success. The cake was a big & delicious part of the celebration!!! She was elated when she opened the box & saw it...I made sure I told her she had to share it! :) We all thoroughly enjoyed it...it was yummy. It was difficult to choose (there are so many lovely varieties to choose from...which is an excellent ‘fault’) but easy to order & communication from ordering to delivery was seamless. I shall be recommending Sponge to my friends & family and will definitely purchase from you again in the future - probably multiple times (please don’t judge me...I love cake!). Thank you so much!

• Best ever cake tasted in a long time. Cake was moist amazing cream frosting and ordered the 6/8 slice cake that was big enough for 10 people. Cant say thank you enough

• The colour was darker than expected - more browny-red than red. Overall nice cake but the butter icing was a little too bland (not buttery) but that may be due to the practicality of shipping.
