• This is the second sharing cake I have ordered and it didn’t disappoint, I will definitely be ordering again, we love the choice of having a different flavour each day. This cake is top of my list for many birthdays to come.

• Part of it was dry (chocolate) the rest was lovely

• The sharing cake is a brilliant idea, I would like to try the other sharing cakes in the future.

• The cake was a gift, and it really was exceptional quality. The perfect sponge, perfect amount of filling in each flavour, and tasteful, classic decoration. A good level of flavour in all four options.

• I ordered this to go to my sons place of work for his birthday. The Traditional 4 sharing was perfect! Thank you soooo much. Although there was ample of cake there was none left over so that says it all. ?

• All of the sharing cakes I have sent as gifts have been so welcomed and amazed at taste, variety and the fact you can freeze if you cannot eat everything in one go! Just wish I could have one here in Sweden where I live !!!!!!

• Product never arrived and I was not notified. After I told them they apologised but offered no good solutions

• Very pleased with the 4 sharing cake. It was nicely presented and delivery was excellent. My only criticism is, that I would have liked another option with flavours, also nut free, as none of my family like coffee and I knew it would be wasted. The rest of the cake was lovely ?

• I had a sharing cake of four different flavours. The cake was bigger than I expected so it was excellent value for money. It looked and tasted beautiful.

• We often order from sponge.co.uk and the quality of the service they offer and the quality of the cakes are always first class. The sharing cake we ordered for my mum’s 90th birthday went down very well.

• Such a wonderful idea to have 4 slices of 4 different flavoured cake all packaged as one. The separators prevent flavours from mixing.

• I ordered this as a birthday gift. Delicious cake in a combination of four different flavours. Added a personal gift message. Liked being able to select the delivery date. Cake received on time, packaged well and in tact! Will definitely order again.

• The choc cake had crumbled on the top so didn’t look presentable and the other cakes the sponge was a bit on the dry side. It was made better by the delicious frostings and buttercream but the sponge on its own I felt should have been moister and more flavor..I felt the flavor actually came from the buttercream

• It was great to taste the different flavours without committing to purchasing an entire whole cake and handy that the cake was already pre- portioned. We were excited about this sharing cake as we have previously ordered other cakes before from Sponge....but we were left rather disappointed on this occasion.Although we enjoyed the Victoria and Lemon cakes , the Coffee and Chocolate however were both dry and tasted stale the next day .....this is despite all of them being stored in the same air-tight container and at room temperature as per instructions.

• The selection of flavours was lovely, pre-sliced was very useful and it looked fantastic. Unfortunately the sponge was unpleasantly dry, despite warming the cake up fully and eating the day it arrived. I had hoped that the whole cake would be more moist than the cake card I ordered but it wasn't. Fine for a cake by post but not a particularly great cake.

• Love Sponge. Makes an excellent gift. Everyone has been been happy with their deliveries

• Excellent way of sampling different flavours rather than buying individual flavour cakes. It then helps decide which flavour to buy next. Also excellent if you have family members that prefer different flavours to each other. My only disappointment is you cannot choose your own 4 flavours, which would help with my first point and having a dairy and gluten free member in my family. I would of liked to swap out one of the four for a segment of df/gf - obviously knowing cross contamination can occur.

• This cake was brilliant! It was only for 3 of us but I was stuck for what cake I wanted! This cake was perfect as we all got to sample 4 different flavours without having to buy 4 cakes! The chocolate and Victoria sponge were the favourites! Strange because we all said we’re not fans of chocolate cake and unless heated up with cream or pice cream find there unusually sickly and stodgy! This on the other hand was so light and delicately flavoured. I’d say the lemon was our least favourite, we still enjoyed it but would have liked a bit more lemon drizzle on the top. I was worried that it was going to be one of those really light almost artificial cake but I strongly believe that this was baked the day or the day before dispatch it just tasted so fresh! I think we’re hooked on this house and I’m looking forward to ordering again! The only tough choice now is do we stick to the same flavour or work of way though them all! Brilliant cakes thank you and well done!

• I ordered the sharing cake to be delivered to my Dad and his wife as a surprise. My dad, who is a man of very few words actually rang me, not only to thank me for the gift but to tell me how amazing the cake looked, and just how tasty it was...he even said that it was wedding quality cake that my daughter should consider for her wedding, the highest compliment! Will definitely be purchasing again.

• It was delicious!! The sharing cake is a great idea (even if I would have preferred to eat it all myself!).

• Each slice was of equal size, very generous with a sizeable amount of buttercream filling. We all got a taste of our favourite flavours.

• Having spent 26.00 on a four flavour cake I was hoping it would be amazing cake for that price and I am pleased to say it is, every flavour tasted beautiful we were delighted, I had previously purchased a coffee cake which I sent to my mums care home and they all said it was wonderful which made me order this one.

• Just the job for a group of people with differing tastes in cake

• Would not risk a mixed cake again as it seems quality is not what it should be. Coffee cake dry and definitely older than other cakes included.Not a major issue but many slices were uneven and not the same size. This applied across the ranges of mixed varieties provided .

• It is so innovative to have this as an option. Meets everyone’s requirements

• I ordered the sharing cake so we had more choice - it was 4 flavours and was simply amazing just wish we could pick our own flavours - mind you this didn’t matter as the one we got there was something for everyone.
