• I ordered gluten free lemon drizzle for my daughter who had just moved to uni. Gluten free cakes are often dry and un-exciting! This one was delicious, moist and lemony. In fact her non-coeliac housemates wouldn’t leave it alone! Delighted.

• Wonderful, moist, lemony, light. A beautiful cake. Bravo, will be recommending you to everyone I know who is looking for a cake.

• Some gluten free cakes can be dry but both the gluten free options I have ordered .. lemon drizzle and carrot cake have been fantastic

• I’ve had to choose gluten free foods for 12 years owing to being a Coeliac. Sponge makes a wonderful lemon sponge, which is now available in the smaller size, and tastes the way I remember cakes being when I could eat normally. I freeze slices of the cakes and take them to celebrations so I don’t feel left out at cake time ?.

• came packaged beautifully. Lovely to come with napkins as well, a very thoughtful touch. Nice to be able to order candles to arrive with the cake. Very moist & delicious especially for a gluten free cake which can be inconsistent.

• Lovely moist sponge cake with a great texture, not too crumbly (often an issue with gluten free baked goods) and not heavy, either. Sometimes it seems that gluten free foods have at least 100 ingredients so I was very happy at the relatively short (and comprehensible) list of ingredients for this cake.

• As always a beautifully moist cake however I think you need to add a bit more lemon flavouring as it was so subtle, it was almost undetectable. Delicate flavours are always good but a lemon cake should pack a bit more of a citrusy punch.

• This was a really lovely, lemony cake. I can remember 'ordinary' cakes from before I was diagnosed as coeliac and had given up hope of finding comparable gluten-free cakes but Sponge has excelled in creating light, moist and very more-ish cakes.
