• I ordered a card previously and was surprised to see a gluten free option as these are usually hard to get in such specific things. I decided to order a cake for my partner that is coeliac as he had been unwell with a cold and thought it would be a lovely surprise. I ordered the cake and it was delivered the next day with tracking and delivery times and arrived beautifully packed and lovely touch with 8 serviettes. The cake was absolutely delicious as some gluten free cakes are dry but this was amazing! Thank you so much I will definitely buy again and recommend you to others!

• Loved it. The cake taste was a twist on a carrot cake and you wouldn't guess it was gluten free. Shipped well and beautifully presented. Thank you

• Only gripe is that we didn't receive one of the cakes we ordered and instead got two of the same cakes. Still ate it but would have been nice to get what we paid for.

• I love this cake. It is so tasty. Texture is moist and the slightly crunchy topping is just perfect. You would be hard pressed to find a better GF cake than this.

• The only moan was from the nut allergy human, "why does it have sultana's" which everybody else ignored, it was really tasty and not the usual run of the mill gluten free products.

• Lovely texture but definitely tasted like a carrot cake. No discernible appley taste to it. I ordered the large cake and there was definitely enough for 16 good sized slices

• We thought the cake was fabulous. You can smell the cinnamon in the cake and we loved the buttercream. But I think it could do with abit more apple.. But apart from that it was amazing.

• Possibly the nicest Gluten Free cake I have ever experienced. This was the third from Sponge having previously tried the Victoria Sandwich and Carrot Cake, both of which were also delicious. Unfortunately having a Soya allergy as well there's just the Ginger cake to try now.

• Lovely cake we could not stop eating it. The handling and packaging for delivery showed it was made with attention to detail, care and good quality ingredients.

• Sponge make the nicest gluten free cakes. We haven’t tried the normal because we do not have gluten in the house as our daughter is coeliac. Your cakes are always so moist and last forever! It is a struggle to buy nice gluten free cakes so, we are delighted to have found you. We have used you for years and and will recommend to all!

• Impressive service, especially during a pandemic! My only criticism is that it would have been nice to have been able to fill in a "present from" label to include with it, rather than having to buy a birthday card. I had to tell my friend that it was from me, as I had already sent a card and there wasn't any way for me to include a delivery note with the cake......it arrived and she had no idea who had sent it!

• THIS CAKE WAS MOIST AND SOOOO TASTY, IT WAS FOR MY WIFES BIRTHDAY, SHE IS A GOOD BAKER AND SHE WAS SUPER IMPRESSED WITH IT, WE GAVE SOME TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND THEY ALL LOVED IT TOO. MY WIFE HAS A NUT ALLERGY AND EATS GLUTEN FREE SO THIS WAS PERFECT, IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU COULD DO ANOTHER FLAVOUR WITHOUT NUTS, WE WOULD BE SURE TO BIUY EVEN MORE. THANK YOU VERY MUCH
