• Always love this cake but more apple less sugar, I think would appeal to more people. More options on gluten free, nut free would be great!

• Taste was really well balanced , not too sweet. Moisture from the apple was really good especially for GF products that can be bit dry. Flavouring of cream was lovely too. Great balance.

• The cake was lovely but l could not find any apple in it and l thought the top was demerara sugar. It was more like a carrot cake. However we did eat it but l would not opt for this again.

• Lovely moist cake. Delicious almost biscuity / brown sugary flavour. I agree with comments saying that it’s not like an out and out apple cake and that the crumble is delicate. But we were not fussed about either aspect. It’s just a lovely, moist flavoursome cake. Don’t change a thing! Just finished our first and treated ourselves to a second one. That says it all… yum!

• Lovely texture, flavour and aroma. Cuts well. Didn't dry out.

• Great portion, nice buttercream but overall did not meet my expectations. Not enough flavour, couldn’t taste any apple and the crumble wasn’t crunchy and didn’t resemble a crumble topping.

• The "crumble" topping wasn't what I expected - a little too fine and more like a dusting of sugar than a crumble. Still an beautiful cake with a genrous amount of real fruit content.

• My family said that more apple in it would have been nice, but I was very happy as it was. The apple cake was your best so far, it was so moist unlike some of the other GF cakes, but the texture I am used to in GF product drier & crumblier than normal bakes. .if all your cakes could have the same moist texture I think you would have truly cracked the texture difference between GF & ordinary cakes.

• Taste of heaven, as always. Can't tell it's "fake" cake, which is amazing because I was diagnosed Coeliac late in life and I know what I'm missing. Plus, the Apple crumble cake is nut-free for when you want to share it with friends with other allergies. Sooo good. You'll end up eating most of it. Goes very, very well with a coffee.

• As I said above - the GF range is superb. The best accolade I can give is to say that you can't tell the difference between GF cakes and normal cakes. Equally delicious, moist, and don't fall apart when you cut into them, as with most other GF products.

• This was amazing. The cake arrived on the requested date and I left it in its packaging until party day when I decorated it with candles etc. It smelt delicious and was admired by everyone. My son is not a huge cake fan but tried it and said it was the best he had tasted. Number three grandson, who likes cake but is a very fussy eater and we weren't sure he would try it because it was 'different', just ate a full slice without any hesitation and said it was in his top ten of cakes! Also being gluten free meant I could enjoy it too. Very successful and would highly recommend. Thank you very much.

• The gluten free apple cake is a lovely sponge which is great to the start of gluten free world especially for my 16yr son who thought he wouldnt have anything nice again .
