We tried many different gluten free, dairy free and vegan cakes, and we always felt a little disappointed as they were dry and crumbly and didn’t leave us with the same satisfaction as traditionally made cakes. So, we set out to make our range as delicious and moist as our standard cake range, while using free from ingredients to make our cakes ideal for those with dietary requirements.
Our gluten free cakes are much like our standard sponge cakes, with one simple but effective difference. We use quality gluten free flour instead of traditional flour to create our light and fluffy gluten free sponge cakes; most people can’t tell the difference! They still have the same great flavour and texture as our standard flavours, here are a few of our favourites that we’re sure you’ll love.

Free range eggs, gluten free flour mix, ground almonds and natural vanilla flavouring create a wonderfully light gluten free vanilla sponge. English butter and natural vanilla create a thick and creamy buttercream matched perfectly with raspberry jam.
Our delicious chocolate cake tastes as good as it looks. The moist and indulgent gluten free chocolate sponge is made with rich chocolate, gluten free flour, ground almonds and free range eggs. English butter and chocolate create the ultimate chocolate buttercream and white chocolate flakes decorate the top. Yummy!
An indulgent cake to say the least; there’s a reason it has got an expensive name, as every bite is so deliciously rich. Half of the sponge is hand-made with natural vanilla flavouring, gluten free flour mix, ground almonds and the other half is made with indulgent chocolate. Free from Cake Storage
Our non-fruit based free from cakes will stay fresh and delicious for up to 10 days, while our fruit-based free from cakes will stay fresh for up for 7 days, just keep them in an air tight container in a nice cosy spot. Our cakes don’t like being kept in the fridge! If you’re ordering in advance or just want to save some cake for later, you can even freeze your free from cake for up to 6 months! When you’re ready for your next slice, just take it out of the freezer and pop it in a nice cosy spot for 24 hours. Once it’s up to room temperature it’s ready to enjoy and will be just as delicious.
