• I ordered the chocolate for 8 for a 60th Birthday Celebration. I was not disappointed!! It was delicious. The sponge was lovely and moist, chocolatey but not too sweet or synthetic tasting. The buttercream also was lovely and thick. The cake itself was a good size and portions were very generous. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definately be using Sponge again and would highly recommend.

• Such lovely cakes and they are great for sharing and go a long way when being shared. Though my daughter not so keen on sharing as she likes to make sure she gets to eat cake for several days. Stays lovely and fresh.

• The SPONGE cakes are beautiful to look at and are quite tasty to eat. Love sending them to friends and will continue to use SPONGE as it is convenient and reliable.

• Rich chocolate cake, the buttercream not sickly was just right, the sponge rich but light and fluffy, not sure how they do it but the best chocolate cake we have ever had

• I'm not usually a fan of chocolate cake but this had the perfect balance of chocolate and buttercream. The suggested serving size of 16 is very generous - we had more than enough for 25 kids (3-5 yr olds). Other parents also asked where we got the cake which speaks for itself :)
