• I order the chocolate sponge cake for a surprise birthday treat for a friend seeing we cannot meet up. She said it was lovely and arrived on day that I had ask for so I would order again.

• My second time ordering from Sponge. The chocolate cake was moist and just the right amount of bounce. I find most chocolate cakes you buy taste of sugar rather than chocolate, but not this chocolate cake.

• Very well packaged and presented. First impressions really good. Even loved the napkins it came with. Taste was very good and got even better after a few days. Only thing that could perhaps make it even better would be for the sponge to be a bit more sirupy. Top marks though!

• Didn’t get to try the cake but recipient said it was very good and looked and tasted just like mum’s homemade.

• My order was sent to Exeter for my son’s birthday. I was sent a video and the cake looked delicious, creamy and yummy and I was told that it lived up to all that it promised. I am just sorry that I wasn’t there to enjoy it with him and his family.

I'm now a complete convert! Rich, soft delicious cake that everyone loved. Not dry and sickly sweet like the supermarket ones!
