• Well made substantial sponge cake with deep filling and plenty of jam too.

• Very yummy cake, not had a bad one yet! The sponge was soft and light, could have a bit more jam, but had a good amount of cream filling.

• The cake looked impressive even though it was a plain victoria sponge cake. I arranged for it to arrive the day before the birthday and on the day of the birthday it tasted fresh and moist and stayed this way for a couple of days after - even through the hot weather! Really tasty and would definitely order again.

I have to say I am so amazed by the service, I accidentally over ordered on the candles without me realising in my rush ... thankfully the staff noticed refunded me the over charge and send me and email to tell me the correction. I love common sense and fantastic customer service. The cake despite being posted turned out perfect well packaged. More importantly it was delicious!!! it was huge!!! • Sponge.co.uk came to the rescue when it was not possible to visit mym on her 80th birthday. A lovely cake complete with a card from all of us and sparkling candles surprised her and made her day!

• Lovely tasty cake. I normally prefer fresh cream with my Victoria Sponge but the buttercream is a wonderful substitute. Highly recommended.

• My only issue was that The delivery driver rang the door bell and left the cake outside the door but on its side and not flat as it states on the box and therefore the cake was slightly squashed on one side so not very happy

• I ordered the large Victoria sponge for my partners birthday and it went down a treat! I was told it would be better to order it the day before an occasion just incase of any delay which I did but it came the day I requested and it came perfectly packed and not damaged at all. It was also really fresh and stayed fresh for a good few days until it was all gone! I would highly recommend this company for any occasion for classic cakes done to perfection!
