• cake was absolutely superb - didn’t go dry at all. The cake looked fantastic - there was plenty of filling between the layers and the layers themselves were a big size. It was really tasty and made a good mother’s day present. Would highly recommend :)

• This is our first whole cake we have ordered. I ordered it for my husbands birthday. It was absolutely gorgeous, fresh moist and so tasty. Will definitely be ordering again. As for the the cake cards I have ordered 6 and have been over the moon with them. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

• These are my personal thoughts on the victorial sponge, for me the buttercream was far too sweet and I think more jam and a little less buttercream might work well. I would not order this cake again which is a shame.

• The 16 inches cake was huge!! Bigger than expected it was a delightful surprise. Everyone loved the cake and everyone kept asking for more till there were no left overs!!! It was the best sponge cake I have ever had in my life! I was very pleased and I am excited for my next birthday. Can’t wait to order again. I might just look for an occasion to get the cake again. Thank you very much. Keep making amazing cakes!

• Lovely light, thick sponge with delicious filling.

• I thought the product kept nice and fresh, cut easily and had a good amount of filling. The actual sponge is a little on the sweet side.

• Lovely cake great tasting and nice. It was very slightly on the dryer side as in could of been moister but still a good cake and very fast delivery. Would order again.

• Perhaps the larger size is not as moreish as the smaller size, for some reason there is a slight difference, as we had the smaller one the week before, wiped out pretty quickly so brought the larger size and my family don't seem to be demolishing it.

• This cake exceeded my expectations! I was looking for victoria sponge cake in birthday cake size which I could customise later. It smelled amazing, were soft and fresh. I served the cake one day after it arrived and it was incredible. I will never buy any cake from the supermarket again. Every person who had a slice asked where did I buy it. Definitely recommend it. Thank you!

• Absolutely delicious and a real treat. The cake is firm enough that it’s very easy to cut into 8 equal pieces without it crumbling. Just the right amount of cream and jam and the sponge is dense but not heavy.

• The most amazing cake EVER. Always been a huge fan of these cakes. Totally amazes me how you can receive a full sponge cake in the post and it arrives in perfect condition! Really doesn’t matter which flavour you choose, you will not be disappointed. The hardest decision is choosing which lovely sponge to try first

• The cake was fresh and tasted delicious. It was well-packaged and looked wonderful. I've always loved sponge cake, and this is the best one I've ever tasted. The quality was superb with a generous filling of jam and cream. It was moist but didn't fall apart when I cut into it, and it lasted a while too. I will certainly be ordering more cakes from Sponge in the future.

• The height of the cake was very impressive. The taste was mouth-watering. There was lots of buttercream and jam that complimented the sponge. A perfect Victoria Sponge that was loved by everyone who ate it.
