• Really easy to use site. Cake looked great and arrived exactly when they said it would, so can't really ask for more than that.

• Following a stroke I am unable to cook/bake due to paralysis on my left hand/arm. Sponge has enabled me to provide a gift of a cake I cannot produce myself any more (and one that probably tastes better.

• Thank you so much for a wonderful cake. This is the first time I’ve not been with my daughter for her birthday and not been able to make her cake. Being able to personalize it made me feel involved and she absolutely loved the picture on it. I’m assured it tasted delicious too!

• Really thrilled with this cake. WIsh I could share a photo! My son's 18th and it didn't disappoint. The photo (F35 Fighter Jet) was clear and detailled and the option to write a message to nicely personalise it. The cake was delicious - not too sweet and enjoyed by all. The icing fabulous. 16 generous portions. Great value. Will defintely be ordering another photo cake for our next family celebration!

• It was beautifully packaged and then encased is very hard card so it arrived looking immaculate. My son said its the best cake he's ever tasted and he is very fussy. Beautifully decorated and delicious

• The cake was ordered for my grandsons 1st birthday, was a huge hit for everyone, (not that I expected anything else) several people at the party expressed the probability that they could be making an order in the future.

• We had a chocolate cake with a photo and it once I figured out how to put in on looked good . the cake was round and I would have liked a Squair one ., would have given me more room , but I could not find what I was looking for . all said It was a lovely cake .

• Personalised cake for my mum who loves Fred Bassett! She loved it and it was also delicious. The picture was exactly as I wanted it and looked great. the icing is particularly tasty!

• My only negative is that when designing the cake i dont think its very easy for people to do. If you know how to use a paint program its easier. The program doesnt allow you to measure the design onto the cake that easily ^^ Other than that everything else was awesome !!!!!!

• The Cake was nice but unfortunately we got sent a Victoria sponge cake , instead of a chocolate cake . however when I e-mailed the company about the issue they responded quickly and gave us a credit note for the full amount.

• Have had a few of these lovely cakes now, lemon cake and a strawberry’s & cream one which was delicious, lovely and moist. Found biscoff and the chocolate cakes a little on the dry side, the photo on the chocolate cake was good presentation and enjoyable to eat. Looking forward to trying more flavours in the future.

• I live overseas and was looking for a bakery in the UK to send a cake to my boyfriend for his bday, I found Sponge to be the exact kind of local bakery I was looking for, I love their story and their lovingly crafted products. I’ve ordered several times, most recent being a Photo Cake, all delivered on time and in perfect condition. I highly recommend this company. When I visit the UK next, will definitely make the trip to Norfolk to check it for myself :)) Best wishes from Toronto.
