• Bought this as a gift and recipient loved it. Great packaging and gift wrapping made it extra special. Bit pricey for a small cake but tasted great and made the persons day.

• I am gluten free so didn’t taste it, but all comments were positive. Very sweet, so one slice enough.

• See above this rating is based on the fact that the cake was already starting to taste "old" when it was eaten and did not last as long as stated on the website

• I bought this cake as a leaving gift for my colleague. I didn't get to taste it (due to social distancing) but he text me more than once to rave about how delicious it was.

• I ordered this cake for my friends birthday since we couldn't celebrate together. The cake arrived on her birthday, beautifully wrapped and in perfect condition, she loved it!

• Excellent service from Sponge. The website was easy to navigate and PayPal payment made the whole transaction very smooth. The cake was beautifully packaged and delivered band on time. Step son was delighted with his birthday cake. I would order again and have recommended you to others.

• Cake that served 8 was a hit with the recipient, good flavour, light sponge, nice filling. Asked for a larger one next year!

• Really nice cske ordered for my husbands birthday during lickdown as i didn't have much oportunity to go out and get him one in person and not much of a baker myself. My husband particularly enjoyed, pretty much entirely demolishing it himself in the space of a day and a half.

• The millionaires cake was delicious, chocolate and vanilla sponge in one cake. The cake was nice and moist and really tasty and not damaged at all during the delivery. I will be ordering again thank you xx

• Was a lovely present for my parents, they have enjoyed eating it and cheered them up.

• On this occasion I was really disappointed. The cake looked good enough and was quite large. But the taste wasn’t that great and the cake was very very dry. There were only 2 slices taken from the cake and I left half of mine slice. I’m so sorry but have to speak as I find. I had tried a different cake of yours (a tiny one) which was very moist indeed.

• The millionaires cake was delicous. I chose it as a family member is not keen on chocolate cakes but this had the two different sponges so the best of both to keep everyone happy. Would definitely re-order. Thanks!

• Looked exactly as requested and timing of delivery was good but the product was smaller than expected and delivery staff left the cake in its side.

• Cake was lovely, the sponge was moist and spongey and the toffee buttercream was very sweet but delicious. Impressed with the size of the cake and it lasted well when stored correctly (finished it on the 6th day and was still as good as the first day). The packaging was also lovely and it came with some napkins which was a nice touch!

• The filling was just a lttle sweet, but the sponges were wonderful. A nice change for a birthday cake.
