• Lovely cake for a special occasion - moist soft sponge. Wanted something different and had never seen this flavour before so I was willing to pay more than usual. Son was very pleased.

The cakes are not only delicious and very fresh but are always packaged very well and arrive in perfect condition?? I’m sure I’ll be ordering more in the future and I’d certainly recommend them?

• This was a delicious cake which succeeded in conjuring up thoughts of another favourite of ours - millionaire's shortbread. It had a lovely texture and kept this even a few days after cutting it. Would definitely order it again!

• This is how a sponge cake should be, supermarket celebration cakes are far too artificial and way too sweet, great to find a real old fashioned proper sponge cake. Thanks to sponge.co.uk, this is how a real sponge cake used to be years ago. I’m unable to bake myself now, so I’m definitely buying all my cakes for Birthdays, Christmas etc from sponge. • Best cake he's ever eaten!Oh Wow! That was a success! My son said it was the best buttercream he has ever tasted, and the cake was delicious - home made taste, rather than mass produced. Delivered safely and on time. Thank you for making a birthday special when we could not visit.

• Stayed very moist over the Christmas period, it wasn’t too rich. Due to the tiers being altered it meant more cake for us :-)

• The idea of ordering cakes online is a good one. However, the number of variables can cause the experience to be less than expected. It may leave the kitchen in perfect condition, but not arrive so. Very tasty cake though.
