• I didn’t get to taste it but the recipients were very enthusiastic about the cake and didn’t even leave crumbs

• Insanely scrumptious! Only lasted 10 minutes! Delivery was clearly instructed of when it would arrive detailing each stop the driver was on. Presentation was beautiful with napkins for everyone. So much better value for money than supermarkets and a million times tastier!

• This cake was a gift for my brother and he said it was the best tasting cake he'd ever eaten! Think I will have to order some for myself now....

• Ordered this one for a friend and she said it was delicious. I got the Millionaires for my Mum's 70th earlier this year too and it tasted scrumptious.

• Enough to feed over 20 people easily the cake sponge is moist and slightly crumbly the colour is consistent throughout filling is a good amount and a flavour which complements the sponge the topping is in keeping with the style of cake and flavours

• Fairly dry and bland to be honest. If I closed my eyes eating the chocolate part of the cake I wouldn't have known it was chocolate flavour. Disappointing for a birthday cake.

• Delicious! We’ve tried a few of your cakes now and this one was just as good, but our favourite is still the chocolate one as it’s always the most moist. The lemon cake comes a close second, so tasty.

Without doubt one of the nicest cakes I've ever eaten and I implore anyone reading this to stop pontificating and just order one. If it's a special occasion, order two, but otherwise, just buy one and keep it all to yourself. Although perhaps the sixteen slice version might be excessive for one person.

• This is the second cake from sponge.co.uk in 2 weeks. My husband ordered the chocolate cate for my birthday and it was so delicious I ordered the millionaires cake for his birthday the week after. The cake is light and moist and tastes delicious. It arrived on the date I requested and in perfect condition. I will definitely buy from sponge.co.uk again

• We have loved all the Sponge cakes we have ordered over the years but the Millionaires is truly delicious! We ordered it for our 11 year old daughters Birthday and it did not disappoint, would highly recommend.
