GET THAT SWEET SPOT

Buttercream loves a gentle warm-up, and brownies need a little patience to reach their soft, gooey magic. Our bakes have been chilling in transit and need time to be their best so if your sponge is a little dry give it some more time.

ROOM TEMP, BEST TEMP

Let your bake rest in their packaging for up to 12 hours or when it reaches room temperature. It will then be at its full, fluffy glory. Cake is always at its best when it’s cosy, not chilly.

KEEP IT FRESH

Pop leftovers in an airtight container and store somewhere cool and dry... no fridge chills or sunbathing, please! Keeping them at room temperature keeps your bakes soft, gooey, and full of joy.

FREEZE FOR FUTURE JOY

Celebration postponed? Wrap your cake carefully and freeze for up to six months. When you’re ready, thaw at room temperature to bring back that soft, fresh-baked magic you love.

I wanted to order a sharing cake, but I did not like the options (from my party, no one liked coffee). I think a sharing cake made up of chocolate options would be a great idea. Cake was easy to order, nicely packaged and delivery was prompt. However, the cake itself was quite dry and a bit too sweet, so the person for whom it ordered did not enjoy it unfortunately :-( More cookies on top as looked a bit sparse would help Was moist, not overly sweet and lasted for a number of days. The cream was delicious though. Ordered for my daughter and flat mates to help celebrate yet another birthday in lockdown. Despite the box being clearly labelled the receptionist had turned the box upside down, but because it was so well packaged the cake survived intact. When I contacted her to find out how they had enjoyed it the five of them had already demolished the whole cake and all had enjoyed. Will deifnitely order again, they have requested a cake to help them celebrate the end of their exams. The cake was amazing, all of my housemates loved it! The sponge was soft and fluffy and the icing was incredible ? Really disappointed with how dry it was. I was expecting it to be very fresh but it really wasn’t, even the icing was dry on top!
