• I did not try the cake as it was a present for a friend's birthday. However, the feedback I had from her was excellent and she especially enjoyed the level of butter icing involved! It was great to be able to send a present that was a bit different, with loads of little extra treats and was delicious too! Also I really appreciated the level of communication from Sponge, it was reassuring. Thank you guys for sound an excellent job, I will highly recommend you!

• Light fluffy yummy value for money and tasty I have half chocolate and vegan carrot cake for my daughter they gave both been wonderful would recommend to anyone

• The cake was ample size for eight people, Like magic these cakes soon disappear.

• It is always exciting to receive the sponge as it never fails to deliver. The sponge is has great flavour and is perfectly moist and the cream is out of this world.

• Each bite of the chocolate cake was a piece of heaven. We could smell the delicious chocolate aroma wafting through the air at ones the package was opened. We iced around the cake and decorated it with sprinkles for my kids birthday. Such a dainty cake it was.

• Lovely moist sponge with a thick layer of icing between tiers. Chocolate flakes very tasty and it's nice to have the two different icings on the one cake.

• I can't really comment. I didn't see or eat the cake. But my mum and family enjoyed it. It was a nice surprise for my mum, as we live 2 hours away from each other, and haven't seen each other since January.

• LOVED this cake! Only one comment is that is it very rich but it's chocolate cake and this one was really decadent. Amazing quality and great value for money. Would order again - so glorious.

• Delicious cake that was very chocolatey, but not overly so or too sweet. The butter icing balanced it well. Looked very pretty with the chocolate shavings on top.

• Arrived on time requested, in a lovely presented box with napkins, the cake tasted lovely and was nice and spongy, far better than Supermarket one's and cheaper in price compared to local cake makers, we were very impressed and have already recommended, will certainly be using again:)
