• It was a chocolate cake for 16 people to feed a student household of 12. Everyone loved it! I was really pleased as it was my daughter's first birthday away from home so finding Sponge was fantastic (thanks to a friend who recommended you!). Arrived early as planned, stayed fresh as promised, devoured in one evening. Perfect!

• My order was sent to Exeter for my son’s birthday. I was sent a video and the cake looked delicious, creamy and yummy and I was told that it lived up to all that it promised. I am just sorry that I wasn’t there to enjoy it with him and his family.

• 8 GENEROUS servings, we actually found this gave 4 of us 3 servings each. I was hesitant about ordering a cake online but didn't want to risk the supermarket during covid. I'm now a complete convert! Rich, soft delicious cake that everyone loved. Not dry and sickly sweet like the supermarket ones!

I ordered balloons with it and your invoice said you will deliver uninflated balloons. Now imagine, you're sending a birthday cake for you son or daughter, and they receive scrumptious cake packed in a perfect birthday wrap with ribbons and UNINFLATED balloons ... That's so not right don't you think so? Pls start inflating the balloons and send it in a whole celebration feel.

• Beautiful, tasty sponge cake with delicious buttrercream. Very glad I ordered this for an 80th birthday.

• Cake purchased for students during self isolation while at University. The recipients were delighted with the product. It was well presented, looked good and tasted delicious. It was very moist and enjoyed by everyone. A lovely treat during difficult times!
