• My husband was sent one for his birthday in lockdown and we thought what a special way to show you care . We then sent one to my brother on his birthday and he felt loved receiving it . Good quality and thoughtful gift .

• Had the Victoria sponge for a sponge Friday offer, have always gone for the lemon sponge when ordering. The Victoria sponge did not disappoint, it was just as perfectly light with just the right amount of sweetness, which, I have found with some gluten free cakes from other sellers can be heavy & the sweetness overwhelming.

• I very much enjoyed the Victoria sponge cake and the texture was good, not crumbly, dry or breaking apart like some GF cake. One teeny thing I would change is to have a bit of butter in the recipe if possible, as I love the taste of butter in a more plain sponge cakelike a Victoria.

We added mascarpone cream icing to the sides and top, decorated with fresh flowers and 30 candles and hey presto ... the best birthday cake ever! • I always struggle to find a good GF cake that doesn't cost a fortune, until I found Sponge. This Victoria sponge was so light you would never tell it was GF - beautiful vanilla sponge filled with delicious cream and jam. I also tried chocolate and lemon flavour before, but this is my favourite by dlfar. Thank you Sponge for a great cake!

• This was the best Gluten Free Victoria Sandwich I have tasted to date!! Being a Coeliac I have tried many 'shop bought' cakes and ones in cafes that to look at, made my mouth water - but then fell flat once the texture had sucked the moisture from my mouth and they had disintegrated before they had even reached my mouth! This one was different - it not only looked amazing presentation wise, it was perfect in texture, the sponge was light and best of all it was packed with all the taste of a perfect home made cake. The only negative I have is that I was expected to share it ;-)

• Amazing!!! Lovely moist sponge, smooth buttercream, great vanilla and strawberry flavours. Did not taste like a gluten free cake.
