• Cake arrived well packaged and on time. I liked the rocky road cake it was moist and well decorated. The cake was lovely, and gave 8 good slices, but I would recommend eating within 1-3 days to enjoy it at its best. I would buy from Sponge again but would like free delivery as £15 for a small cake is a bit too expensive for a regular purchase.

• Sent the Rocky Road cake as a surprise to my Mum and Dad and they absolutely loved it. Not a crumb was wasted!

• My 12 Yr had this rocky road cake for his birthday, the whole top was covered in the marchmallows very appealing and tasted yummy!!

• Good size cake with good depth, not dry and still tasted as good 2 days later. Comes well packaged and arrived very quickly. Probably a bit expensive but good if you don’t have time to bake!

The marbled vanilla and chocolate sponge was moist, chocolate buttercream was plentiful and moreish....overall, I was very pleased with my purchase and my Son delighted with his choice. • a wonderful product that can be for any occasion. For birthdays, anniversaries, moving home, just because. Ive ordered some wrapped which come in a fab cake wrapping paper also the hot chocolate & coffee added on selections. You also add a gift card from a great selection. The 14 slice cake was fab did cause a couple of friendly arguments of who wants what flavour. The mini's are great as a takeaway cake in its little box. The rocky road went down great as a birthday surprise and a moving home gift. I really recommend Sponge to everyone and will definitely be back and tell all my friends.

• The Rocky Road cake was delicious - the cake is a good size (very deep) and the sponge to buttercream ratio was spot on. The image on the website is true to life. We have since ordered another cake as it was just so more-ish :-) Thank you.

• Very large cake in height and circumference. Came well packaged with instructions on how to store it. Tasted delicious lovely chocolate buttercream and marshmallow and crispy bits on top and chocolate cream in the centre marble effect sponge. I dressed it with ribbon and a cake topper for my mums 70 th birthday ( bought separately). All enjoyed it yum yum
