• My daughter shared it with her flatmates, it looked and tasted good, she loved it.

• This was a lockdown birthday cake for a friends 50th. A great surprise for her and she and her kids were blown away by it :)

• These were sent to our two children and their children (our grandchildren) just as treat to make them smile in this horrid time. They really enjoyed the cake from the arrival, opening the box, seeing the cake and then of course eating it!

She is an awesome cake maker herself so I was a little anxious about ordering her a cake online, but this cake is fabulous: "delicious, moist, so tasty" and also to quote her partner, "yummy!" And the fountain candles were spectacular too, the best I've seen. Thanks so much Sponge!

• Good flavour and a nice mix of textures. Try warming the slice of cake for a few seconds (no more than 10) in the microwave before serving just to melt the buttercream a fraction!!

Unfortunately I live the other end of the country so didn't get to taste it myself but based on his recommendation I will use the company again.
