• I ordered this cake as a surprise for my friend's Birthday. The smell of lemons was tantalising and the cake itself was delicious, not too "lemony" and my friend thought it was fabulous!

• Good flavour, white chocolate drizzle on top lovely idea. Very moist cake and generous serving.

• Very well presented and the sponge well made. Delivery was fast and no issues. Would definitely use service again and recommend to others.

• The texture of the sponge was very good. We all enjoyed it The only negative was that the sponge was not lemon flavoured and not as moist as drizzle cakes usually are. The only taste of lemon was in the butter cream.

• When it arrives at destination, it is always fresh and tasty and packed very well.

• I was expecting this to taste of lemons in the sponge & not just a very thin lemon icing on the top of the cake. This is one variety I will not be ordering again.

• Paid for before 12.30pm on Friday but did not receive refund as cake was not delivered until Monday. Lemon drizzle was tasty but too sweet.

• The recipients of this cake said it was lovely and looked beautiful. It didn't last long apparently. As mentioned above, although my recipients were at home all day on the delivery date, DHL delivered to a neighbour which meant they didn't get their cake till the afternoon of the next day and caused a certain amount of anxiety for both me and them.

• It was absolutely gorgeous. So light and fluffy and deliciously lemony. Simply and tastefully decorated and plenty enough for13 people. People at other tables in the room benefitted as we had some left over - they all thoroughly enjoyed it too.

• The cake had a great lemon flavour but wasn’t too sweet. Sometimes cakes can be far too sweet but this was a good balance. The buttercream was a good amount for the quantity of sponge and again wasn’t overly sweet. The sponge was soft and moist. The cake also had good height

• Website was easy to read. The cake was delicious, moist and fresh. The price was very good compared to others, I like that cards and gifts are available with cake. It's such a convenient idea. Will absolutely recommend and use Sponge from this moment on. My son was very happy with his cake.

• The whole experience of choosing and buying the cake was an easy experience. The cake itself was exactly as promised, large and a joy to eat. I’ll definitely buy another cake in due course.

• Stronger lemon flavour

• The recipients thought it was the nicest lemon drizzle cake they’d had by far. They especially liked ‘no icing’ just the light dusting on top because icing (they’d had that on this cake elsewhere) detracted from the yumminess of the actual sponge. They shared it with friends and it really was a massive hit!

• Oh the lemon drizzle cake was so nice, very tasty, you could taste the lemon flavour in the sponge and lived the lemon buttercream filling. Found this company and will continue to buy as they are amazing cakes.

• Despite its being less lemony than expected, this is a lovely light cake, especially for summer, with summer fruit or by itself. Attractive presentation and generous helpings.

• Delicious moist, lemony sponge with a slightly crunchy, lemony top and thick, lemony buttercream.

• I sent this cake as a gift for a family gathering that my daughter was attending. My daughter has tried the carrot cake and thought it was amazing however, she said the lemon cake was ‘just a lemon cake’ like in the supermarket. Rather a shame but we have to try them to see!
