• Apparently it tasted devine! Due to lockdown only 2 got to try it.... Ate half in one sitting & had to freeze the rest otherwise it would all have gone!

• The cake was huge ? and everyone loved it! The coffee was excellent too. My friends have become Sponge fans too now ?

• The vegan chocolate sponge was lovely and light, and you'd never know it was vegan! For me, it was a 12 portion cake rather than an 8 portion cake, but it's freezing well too!

• The cake was a bit sweet but I ate it with fruits on the side like strawberries, bananas and blackberries.

• I ordered a birthday cake for my recently 'gone vegan' niece. I thought a vegan cake would be rather unpleasant, but the comments from my vegan niece plus the rest of her non-vegan family said the cake was sublime. Moist, chocolatey and delicious! I'm so thrilled with my purchase.

• Best vegan cake we've had. Very hard to find sponge that is moist and has same qualities as a non vegan one. This is so good even non vegans enjoy it as much as normal chocolate cake.

• I bought this as part of a birthday gift for someone who's vegan. Individual cake slice using the marked guide of an eighth given in the box was sizeable. The slice cut disappeared very rapidly and was evidently enjoyed and I doubt that it would have lasted a week!
