• The image on top was clear and covered the whole cake. The numbered candles were of good quality and had glitter in the wax

• At first I thought it overpriced but on reflection I think that it was not too bad. My brother was delighted. Despite the difficulties in getting the image and text sorted it was worth the effort. We're not all techies and this was fiddly although worthwhile once we saw the result. Would definitely recommend.

• very well received by all concerned it looked good and it was a good size heavy cake ,not flimsy at all , well enough for eight, in fact had we not all been so piggy perhaps could have cut smaller portions, but on saying that, it was delicious ,nice and moist , not dry at all, very happy with it and so was the "Birthday boy" thank you so much love your company

• Don't know how it's done. A huge Victoria Sponge inscribed Happy Birthday and with a photo too. Like all the sponges, this was fresh, moist and very tasty.

• This isn't the first cake we've ordered from Sponge, and it definitely won't be the last! We've ordered a different cake each time and will definitely not order from anywhere else. Sponge somehow make it perfectly sweet - and not like other makers whose cakes are far too sweet.
