Our gluten free cakes are made in a separate coeliac society approved kitchen to our standard cakes, by a team who will only work in that kitchen all day and do not move between kitchens. Ingredients are stored separately and no equipment is shared between the gluten free kitchen and the kitchen where the rest of our cakes are made.

GET THAT SWEET SPOT

Buttercream loves a gentle warm-up, and brownies need a little patience to reach their soft, gooey magic. Our bakes have been chilling in transit and need time to be their best so if your sponge is a little dry give it some more time.

ROOM TEMP, BEST TEMP

Let your bake rest in their packaging for up to 12 hours or when it reaches room temperature. It will then be at its full, fluffy glory. Cake is always at its best when it’s cosy, not chilly.

KEEP IT FRESH

Pop leftovers in an airtight container and store somewhere cool and dry... no fridge chills or sunbathing, please! Keeping them at room temperature keeps your bakes soft, gooey, and full of joy.

FREEZE FOR FUTURE JOY

Celebration postponed? Wrap your cake carefully and freeze for up to six months. When you’re ready, thaw at room temperature to bring back that soft, fresh-baked magic you love.

Out of 12 people only 1 needed it for allergy reasons and everyone loved it, next time I’m going for a bigger cake! The level of sweetness was just right, the sponge beautifully light and the dairy-free icing creamy and moreish! I can hardly wait till tomorrow/Sunday when I can relish eating more slices! A million thanks Sponge for your wonderful cakes!! Innovative idea for a cake. It was my husband's and my birthday this week. He loves Victoria Sponge and I love chocolate. We were both happy with the cake. Really delicious and moist. My husband is incredibly picky and was shocked when I told him it was gluten/dairy free. Great tasting product but it was quite expensive. Loved it! Could not tell it was gluten and dairy free! So tasty thanks This was a delight to look at and eat, very surprised that I enjoyed the Victoria as much as I did. So great to be able to enjoy some cake with the family that didn't cause problems due to dairy intolerance. Would definitely order again. The fact GF and dairy free family members were present, it made it ideal that we could all enjoy cake together. No one would of known it was different to what they normally eat. Amazing A well made cake very tasty well packed as always delivered on time Moist, which is unusual for gluten free. Good to have the option to have 2 flavours.
