• Did not enjoy it at all. Cake was heavy and dry. Did not taste anything like a trifle. Served it on Chistmas day to trifle lovers who didn't enjoy. More than half the cake has saddly been thrown away - no one wanted to eat anymore of it. Thankfully had bought red velvet cake as well which saved the day!

• Normally we really love 'Sponge' cakes but the Trifle cake did not do it for us. It was more sweet (really sweet) than tasty and we could not taste the marsala wine at all. Also the yellow sponge seemed dryer than the other two layers. One slice each was enough and we could not face any more than that so threw it away.

• These was a very pretty cake. It did actually taste like triffle as well. I would recommend this cake for anyone with a sweet tooth.

• Really pretty, looks like a trifle. The first flavour you get is strawberry ice cream, but then the full layers of a trifle come through. This will be the go to cake for me 😀
