• Really nice texture, melted in the mouth, I try to limit gluten and it is very hard to find gluten free cakes that are moist and have a nice crumb.. I shared this one with some family members who are used to normal sponges, they all commented spontaneously on how enjoyable the cake was before I told them it was gluten free. I would certainly buy again.

• Delicious moist cake. Light texture- impossible to tell it was gluten free. Lemon and blueberry is a delightful summery flavour. A lovely cake.

• I’m not a fan of lemon cake however the flavour sounded unique so I ordered it to try. It was amazing! It didn’t take long to finish, it was a refreshing flavour. It would be great if this became a regular flavour.

• This GF cake like all of the others by Sponge are just as tasty as the ones made with wheat flour…. A rare feat in the cake world achieved by Sponge! Tried the lemon and blueberry one for my partners birthday - the fresh lemon flavour combined with blueberries (and real blueberries!) went down a treat :?

• We ordered the blueberry and lemon cake and must say it was the best gluten free cake I have tried so far! Please make it a regular choice in your website!

• We've had quite a few Sponge cakes now and this was one of the best ever. Was a little worried with an iced top that it might be oversweet but the berry gave that bit of tang to prevent that. Lemon quite subtle, plenty of blueberries as well as the topping and buttercream filling

• Was an anniversary cake for parents and they loved it! Tasty but not too sweet or rich. And very pretty.

• Despite the delivery disappointment with royal mail it has not detracted from the fact that if you order this gluten free cake you will be hard pushed to find a better one. The product stays as fresh as the day you bought it for days in the box provided. I would definitely recommend and would purchase again from Sponge. Excellent.
