We have been quite mean the last few weeks, teasing you about rainbow cakes, but for good reason! We’ve written a couple of blogs about rainbow cakes in general and posted a teaser picture on social because we were so excited about developing our own! We’ve been working hard in the bakery to create a beautiful and delicious rainbow cake for you to order and it’s finally here!
Our limited-edition rainbow cake has officially launched and is ready for you to buy!
Rainbow Sponge Cake
This is a Rainbow layer cake, with four colourful layers of delicious vanilla sponge. The yummy light and fluffy sponge layers are made with natural vanilla, British butter and free-range eggs. They are all sandwiched together with thick layers of vanilla buttercream that is simply scrumptious. The buttercream also covers the top and sides of the cake and is doubled for extra luxury. Finally, the whole cake is covered in white chocolate shavings for added flavour and texture, and to keep the centre a surprise for a special occasion wow factor.
You are also able to choose a topper to place on top of the cake to give them a stunning finishing touch. Rainbow Cake Storage
Our limited-edition rainbow cakes don’t like to be kept in the fridge. So, to keep them moist and delicious store them in a nice cosy spot, either in their original packaging or in an air tight container. They will stay fresh for up to 10 days, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy every slice!
If you want to save it for a special occasion or just save some for later you can even freeze our delightful cake for up to 6 months! Pop it in whole in its original packaging or an air tight container (you could even cut it in to slices) – then when you’re ready for the next delicious slice, take it out and leave it in a nice cosy spot for 24 hours or until it reaches room temperature and your yummy cake will be ready to enjoy!
