For our August Sponge Club Perk we decided to bring back our Strawberry Swirl cake from earlier on in the year!
The sponge is made from free range eggs, half is flavoured with natural vanilla flavouring and the other half is flavoured with natural strawberry flavouring. These are swirled together to create a vanilla and strawberry marbled sponge. In the middle you will find a thick layer of strawberry flavoured buttercream and vanilla buttercream on top with some pretty sugar butterflies.
It's a perfect sponge to enjoy on hazy Summer evening with family and friends, and is great for picnics too... everyone will want a slice. Get it before it's gone at the end of August!
