Customer service is always our priority. We want to ensure they we do our best to get you your cakes in time and we are always on the lookout on ways to improve our service.
There’s nothing more annoying than forgetting a birthday and then you remembered you need to get a cake! But you don’t have time or can’t get to the shop before the birthday tomorrow – nightmare!
That’s why we offer next day delivery on our cakes, we deliver our cakes across the UK straight to the door, that way you don’t have to even think about leaving the house for a brilliant birthday cake, just order a cake online and it’ll come to you. It’s even great for sending a cake gift to someone, as long as you know their address you can get it delivered straight to their door instead.
We have looked at the service we offer, and we have decided that to improve it we have opened up our last-minute cake service by an extra hour to give you more time to get your cake orders in. That’s right, you no longer have to get your cake orders in by 2pm for next day delivery, no, no, no, with the extra hour we’ve added you now have until 3pm to order and get next day delivery throughout the week (for deliveries Tuesday-Saturday).
This applies to all ranges that are available for next day delivery. You also have until 3pm to our Cake Cards for 48-hour Royal Mail tracked delivery, so you even have a bit longer to find the perfect card, decide on the message you’re going to write inside, and then choose the slice or two of cake and other extras you’re going to include to create your lovely letterbox gift.
For special occasions, we do encourage you to order as far in advance as you can, and to place the order for delivery a day or two before the special day. This is because on the rare occasion unforeseen delivery issues do crop up (such as delivery vans breakdowns, etc.) which can result in delivery delays. And we don’t like the idea of someone going without cake on their birthday so requesting a delivery date a day or two in advance gives a bit more security for ensuring they get their cake in time for their big day. Although as we said above for you last-minute Panickers in a cakemergency – as long as you get your orders in by 3pm the day before, we will dispatch your cakes the same day for next day delivery.
Don’t worry if you are more prepared and the cake arrives on your requested date a day or two in advance, our cakes stay fresh for 7-10 days (depending on the flavour), just leave them in a nice cosy spot (DON’T put the cakes in the fridge, they don’t like being cold as it can make them seem dry and crumbly), and they will still be fresh and delicious for your birthday celebrations.
