The leaves are starting to turn that wonderful shade of burnt orange and there is a slight chill in the air - which can only mean one thing - it's time to launch our Autumn Specials!
Last year we launched our Pumpkin Sponge which was a hit and of course went down frightfully well for Halloween. As much as well loved our Pumpkin Sponge we wanted to bring out something new for our loyal Sponge family as we know you like to try new flavours :)
Our talented bakers came up with something they thought would be perfect to curl up with in-front of the fire and indulge in this Autumn - Hazelnut Praline Sponge.
Our Hazelnut Praline cake has a marbled sponge with hazelnut praline butter icing, topped with caramelised honey hazelnuts. We love the nutty undertones and think it's a delicious twist on our classic Chocolate Sponge.
Our Hazelnut Praline Sponge comes in two sizes: Hazelnut Praline for 8 or for Hazelnut Praline for 16.
We also decided to offer a Gluten Free version of our Autumn Special for the first time this year! Our Gluten Free Hazelnut Praline Sponge has a Victoria and Chocolate marbled sponge with hazelnut praline butter icing and topped with caramelised honey hazelnuts. We think you'll go nuts for it!
Our Gluten Free Hazelnut Praline Sponge also comes in two sizes: Gluten Free Hazelnut Praline for 8 and Gluten Free Hazelnut Praline for 16.
We have had lots of different Autumn specials in the past including Black Forest Gateau, Pumpkin Sponge, Ginger Sponge, Almond Praline, Apple and Blackberry Crumble, Apricot and Almond, Banoffee, Salted Caramel & Toffee and many more!
