• Such a different cake but delicious all the same - very rich but moreish

• Absolutely delicious, moist fluffy sponge. Melt in the mouth.

• Brought this cake for my adult daughters Birthday as she loves millionaires shortbread, well all I can say is this cake was as popular and she was thrilled to receive it, and we all thought it tasted amazing.

• Delicious and beautiful. My son and all his birthday party friends loved having both chocolate and vanilla sponges in one cake! They were all asking for more. Such a shame the vegan version is only available in the smaller size. Delivery was very quick and the packaging ensured the cake was safe. I'll definitely be purchasing from Sponge again.

• Bought as a birthday cake and it did not disappoint. Lovely rich caramel smell as we opened the box. Just the right amount of buttercream filling. A layer of gooey caramel would have been "the icing on the cake" for us. Plenty for 8 generous servings - so why only 5 serviettes?

We would have preferred a thicker later on top a it was difficult to get the exta chocolates we bought to stick to the cake, as we didn't think the cake looked particularly impressive for an 18 th birthday
