Allow the cake to come to room temperature before eating, the butter cream shouldn't be hard!

Once opened, store at room temperature in an air tight container.

Leftovers? Occasion not for a few days? Keep wrapped and store in the freezer for up to 6 months.

Ordered the Chocolate Number cake for 8 for an Aunt's 90th birthday. The cake was delivered along with a small bottle of fizz and a birthday card exactly when Sponge said it would. The cake was a good size. We cut 7 slices to start with of ample size and there was enough left to cut another 3 I would say. Definitely big enough for 8 slices. The cake was moist and the butter icing filling was lovely. The topper we had chosen looked lovely. Thank you so much for a lovely cake.

Quality ingredients went into this moist and flavoursome chocolate cake. The size was perfect for portioning for six to eight slices depending on how large a slice you want. These really are the best online cakes I have tried.
