The 4th of July is the celebration of American Independence, and it’s one of the biggest events of the year in the USA and even a public holiday. It’s a very poignant day for Americans as they remember the day that America gained independence from British rule to become their own country, allowing them to govern it how they believed was right. Forming the constitution and establishing the start of America as we know it today.
Although as Brits we don’t celebrate the 4th of July, there are many American citizens who have made the leap and moved across the pond to settle on British soil to live and work here. Even though loved ones may not live in the states anymore, it doesn’t mean they don’t want to celebrate the 4th of July, so why not send them a little gift to remind them of home and help the celebrate.
