• I thought the cake itself tasted amazing but the frosting wasn’t as good as I expected. Too sugary/sweet. I would order again but I wouldn’t order this flavour cake again.

• One of the nicest cakes I have ever bought. Chose the cookies and cream flavour and the cake was just chocolatey enough without being too rich or sickly and was absolutely delicious in combination with the Oreo icing. Will definitely order again. Have already recommended Sponge to a few people!

• I preferred the carrot cake as it was alot more moist and the frosting wasnt sickly. It wasnt a terrible cake, i just dont like dry sponge.

• The sponge was sent as a birthday gift. As soon as it arrived the kettle was on for a cup of tea and slice of cake. The recipients loved it. Just a shame I didn't get a slice.

• I bought this cake for my son's birthday, he loves Oreos and a thing cookie and cream flavoured. This cake was beautiful! The chocolate sponge was flavourful with out being too overpowering, which really made the refreshing vanilla buttercream filling taste that bit sweeter! The cookies on the top were amazing! They were soft instead of crunchy which we loved!

• Dry, very dry cake. It was my mum's 70th birthday surprise cake and I felt myself say sorry for it being dry. Not good.

• This is the second time I have ordered a cake through Sponge. The cakes are really tasty and generous in portions and fillings - they look and taste homemade. They are packaged securely so they keep in one piece and fresh. It was also delivered on time. I totally recommend using Sponge and will use again.
