• Undoubtedly the best Victoria Sponge I have eaten in 41 years, and it [vegan version] is enjoyed by all the family; I always treat myself to one each year for my birthday and it is only due to an egg-allergy that I purchase the vegan option. I would highly recommend this version/option and this company, whom I have been using for years.

• An outstandingly flavourful, mouthwatering and satisfying sponge, with an excellent 'buttercream' that is by no means sweet and certainly not sickly in the way standard manufactured-for-supermarkets buttercreams are. This cake satifies without sitting heavily after consumption. I bought the medium-size which adequately serves the recommended number of portions. However, the jam layer is somewhat lacking, which was disappointing.

• Highly Recommended! I have an egg allergy and was recommended Sponge who cater for a variety of dietary requirements. I was exceptionally impressed with this cake - there are no artificial ingredients, the sponge is flavourful and moist, and the jam/buttercream filling is midly sweet without being sickly. I will be purchasing another in the near future for general consumption!

• the icing sugar on vegan Victoria Sponge was dissolved (due to humidity I think). I did not dusted it again, as the cake was a bit too sweet for our taste, but still very tasty.

• The vegan victoria sponge was enjoyed by all - vegans and non-vegans. The cake was a lovely texture and although the buttercream was quite sweet it went well with the less sweet sponge. Would definitely order a cake from Sponge again.

• All I would say is it looks very plain so I added vegan butter icing and sweet sprinkles. I didn’t mind doing that at all. But the taste was incredible esp for a vegan cake as I know how hard it is to get right. I won’t look any where else now when I need a vegan cake as you get them often.

• The cake itself too sweet for my liking but moist and generally tasty. I haven't tried a lot of vegan cakes but this one seems to be really really good. I will definitely recommend!!!
