The International Day of Friendship was created to build bridges between countries, cultures and individuals, to help inspire peace efforts. It’s interesting to think that one of the most natural things that many of us do, create friendships, could aid in some small way to some form of peace.

Cake Cards

When you buy one of our Cake Card Letterbox cakes, we package it in a way to ensure that it survives the drop from the letterbox to the floor, the cake slices stay in perfect condition. Your cake is securely packaged in its bespoke cake box. Sending cakes in a card by post is a new and innovative creation, available from Sponge.
The great thing about the Cake Cards is the surprise. As it doesn't require a signature, your postman can simply slip it through the letterbox with the rest of your post and the recipient doesn’t have to be in for the delivery. What a fantastic surprise for them, as they will have no idea you have sent them a special personalised card with cake inside by post!

Depending on the delivery date you have selected, orders will usually be despatched two days prior to your delivery date. You can pre-order for a future date / special occasion. We always recommend selecting a delivery date a day earlier than intended, just in case of any unforeseen issues.
All cake card orders are posted out on Royal Mail 48 hour tracked service. We will provide a tracking number so you can see where your order has got to. Royal Mail aims to deliver 96% of tracked items on time, including Saturdays, although this is not a guaranteed service.
Once you have placed your order, we will keep you updated via email with a confirmation of your purchase, delivery details, and when your card is on its way.
