The size of the cake is also important to consider, you’ll need to make sure that you have a cake that is big enough to feed everyone, but not so big that you’re going to have a lot of cake left over. For the majority of weddings a 2 tier wedding cake is going to be about the right size to feed your guests.
Sponge tiered wedding cakes are great options when you are looking for a tiered cake for your wedding, they are naked cakes, but the great thing about naked cakes is that they can be adapted to your theme. They are simple and can be made elegant by adding floral elements.

Wedding Cake Delivery
We can deliver our wedding cakes across the country safely and securely to your home or straight to your venue. As your wedding is such as special day, we do recommend selecting the delivery date for a day or two before your big day. This is to ensure it arrives in time in case there are any unexpected and unforeseen delivery delays, such as a delivery van breaking down. Our cakes last between 7-10 days from the date or dispatch depending on the flavour, so even if your cake does arrive a day or two before, your cake will still be delicious on your wedding day.
You can order your wedding cake as far in advance as you would like using our handy calendar in the checkout. If you have been let down with a wedding cake, we do also offer next day delivery when you order by 3pm (although as above we do recommend trying to select a date a day or two before your wedding day), so we’ll be here for you if you need an emergency wedding cake.
