Every year we review our product ranges to ensure you are getting a great range of products with lots to choose from and to ensure that everyone can enjoy a delicious cake or brownie for the year to come. We also want to make sure that you are getting the best quality products as well. So, we use the best quality ingredients when creating and baking our cakes and brownies.
Where possible we try to absorb as much of the cost of the ingredients and utilities as we can, this is so that you can still get great quality cakes at an affordable price. As you will have seen announced last year we moved to a new and bigger bakery so that we can deliver more cakes to our customers for special occasions too.
The last two years have been challenging for everyone, and with that the cost of ingredients, in particular for us butter, which we used a lot of to create our standard and gluten free bakes, have increased across the nation. To top it off the cost of energy has also increased for everyone, along with fuel for the vehicles that transport all of our cakes across the country. This means that the cost of creating our cakes has increased from all points.
As we mentioned previously, we do absorb as much of this cost as possible to keep our cakes affordable for everyone, while still creating quality products without cutting corners. When we do increase the prices of our products, we keep the increases as minimal as we can. So, with the price of everything on the rise, this year you may notice that some of our cakes and brownies have gone up slightly for 2022.
We are passionate about delivering your special occasion cakes straight to your door for your celebrations, and we believe even with the minor increases our great quality cakes and brownies are still affordable for everyone to enjoy.
We have some exciting plans for 2022 and we are looking forward to introducing wonderful new cake flavours and product lines this year!
