Place your Cake Card orders by the 21st of December 2021 by 2pm and order your cakes and brownies by the 22nd of December 2021 by 2pm for our last Christmas delivery date of the 23rd December 2021.
Santa Claus is coming to town in just over 2 weeks' time. With that in mind, we want to make sure you are as prepared as possible for Christmas Day. We love the thought of all of the smiling faces around the festive feast with one of our cakes bringing even more joy to many people across the country this year.
You may already have prepared ahead of time and already ordered your Christmas Cakes and brownies ready to be delivered just before Christmas Day. However, if you are still thinking about placing an order, we always recommend ordering as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment as we see an increase in demand for our service, and couriers are becoming increasingly busy delivering an assortment of Christmas gifts.
With that in mind here are a few key dates to pop into your diary regarding our last order and delivery dates.
Cakes & Brownies
As we have mentioned during the festive period courier networks do have increasing pressures on them to deliver lots of goodies across the country. So, to be sure that you get your cakes in time for Christmas we recommend selecting the delivery date of 22nd or 23rd of December for delivery in time for Christmas. This means there’s still time for your cake to be delivered before the big day if on the rare occasion there are unforeseen delivery issues. Here are the important dates to remember to get your cakes and brownies on our last delivery date:
Order your cakes and brownies by the 22nd of December by 2pm for our last Christmas delivery date of the 23rd December 2021.
Don’t worry about the freshness of the cakes, as they will stay fresh in their packaging for 7-10 days depending on if they are fruit-based (7 days) or non-fruit-based (10 days). So, they will still be just as delicious on Christmas day if it’s delivered a few days before.
Cake Cards
Royal Mail are working extremely hard again this Christmas, delivering all of the Christmas cards and gifts being sent through their service, aiming to deliver them all before Christmas Day arrives. Given that there is a lot more reliance on their service, on occasion there may be delays in getting deliveries within the estimated time frames. With that in mind here is the information for our last Cake Card delivery date:
Place your Cake Card orders by the 21st of December by 2pm for our last Cake Card Christmas delivery date of the 23rd December 2021.
Depending on the flavour of cake slices you have chosen, they will stay fresh for up to 5-7 days, fruit-based cake slices stay fresh for up to 5 days, and non-fruit-based cake slices stay fresh for up to 7 days. Each slice will be dated with a best before date label on the back of them.
We wanted to make everyone aware of these last delivery dates so that you can all be prepared and get your orders in, in plenty of time, to avoid disappointment.
Don’t forget if you want to be on the safe side and get your Christmas cakes delivered a bit more in advance you can freeze our cakes. Just leave them in their packaging and pop them in the freezer on the day they arrive, then take them out of the freezer on Christmas Eve and they will be ready to enjoy after your Christmas Day meal.
