A little bit about Panther Brewery
In August 2010 Panther Brewery took over the premises previously occupied by Reepham Brewery which ceased trading in 2009. This microbrewery is part of the rich heritage of brewing in Reepham since the 1800’s. Panther Brewery is the oldest brewing site still operating in Norfolk.
They support their local suppliers and have ensured that the barley is grown at the local farms and malted locally at Crisp Malting. The name of the new brewery is a result of the inhabitants of the small Norfolk town of Reepham claiming to have seen a large panther-like cat prowling and secretly stalking the countryside. Their handcrafted ale is dedicated to this beautiful animal. Deliciously balanced with poise and a sleek finish, it is a celebration of the beast’s cunning and prowess.
