• Always purchased for friends and family and always good feed back

• Every year I order a birthday cake for my daughter and my hubby and we have never been disappointed. This year I ordered the Rocky Road cake for my hubby and it tastes fantastic. It stays fresh for ages and we relished every slice!

• Simple to order, delivered on time but sadly the sponge was dry this time. We have not had a problem before and thoroughly enjoy every sponge we buy for special occasions so hopefully this is a one off.

• The cake was delivered on time and nicely presented, to my daughter at school. She shared it with all her friends - in fact she told me that more than 8 of them were able to enjoy it. Thank you.

• Looks good, ordering and delivery was simple but cake was dry and lacking in flavour.

• Beautifully decorated. Not at all sickly or too sweet. Box was perfect wrapping exquisite.

• My Rocky Road cake was excellent. Lovely marble sponge, plenty of chocolate buttercream filling and topping. One of my favourites!

• My sister loves your cakes as she is disabled and lives a long way from me so I never get to see her as I am disabled and do not get to the shops so i send her your cakes she loved the rocky road especially the topping and the thick chocolate cream filling she woukd like this one again

• The rocky road cake is really tasty! The marbed white and chocolate sponge goes super well together, and the chocolate buttercream is soo good! The added marshmallows and crispy chocolate pieces on top really elevate the cake! Would definitely recommend this cake and will buy again:)

• Seriously the best cake in the World. Rocky road was my sons choice for his birthday. Whilst I loved it, my favourite is still the Victoria and Bakewell! You will have never tasted cake as good as this and the fact it’s delivered to your door in perfect condition is just genius! If you haven’t tried Sponge from “Sponge” yet…. Dive in you will not be disappointed ❤️

• The cakes are always scrumpy with solid packaging meaning g they arrive undamaged. The cakes themselves are adored by all my friends as natural ingredients and therefore not too sweet.

• Rockie Road cake was great but the filling was rock hard despite following instructions.

• We have ordered two cakes recently (we have had the rainbow one in the past) the millionaires one was brilliant the rocky road sponge was quite dry and we would not reorder

• Rocky Road was perfect for our son's 21st Birthday. It looked fun, with an abundance of mini marshmallows on the top.

• Despite tasting and looking great, the cake was heavy and dry, so very disappointing. Something obviously amiss in either the ingredients ratio or the baking process. The buttercream was lovely and I liked the marshmallow and chocolate balls topping.

• As always was very delicious. I have bought many cakes from Sponge before and they are always delicious.

• Was bought to appeal to young children which it did. Actually for my birthday, which is much much greater than the children's.

• I ordered this cake for my husband and children to boost their moral as I was un isolation after testing positive for Covid, They were so excited when it arrived and the comments I have had have been nothing but positive. My mother said it was one of the best cakes she has tried. I can not comment on the taste as sadly covid has stole my sense of smell and taste, but by the looks on everyone else's faces... it was amazing!!!

• Comments from the recipient - It was amazing!! The sponge was light and fluffy and the icing wasn't too heavy and was v yummy too I didnt like the texture of the lil chocolate chips on top but apart from that it was perfect ?

• This was one of the best cakes I've ever had in my life! I just wanted to get something nice for my mother's birthday and she was not disappointed in the slightest! It was delicious, a great blend of chocolate and sponge and wasn't rich or sickly. I highly recommend trying this!!

• My partner saod it is the best cake he has ever had, he saod who ever made this cake really knows how to make cakes! You could taste the quality ingredients and real buuer cream icing and filling. I wanted some!
