bought a wedge of Elizabeth sponge today at Good Food show(NEC Birmingham) for my sister as it was !! gluten free, really moist and tasty went down well with a nice cuppa. coffee sponge wonderful as usual.

I bought this cake for a Jubilee Party. Everyone said it was a delicous cake, I personally thought that the jam was a little too sweet but other than that it was lovely.

If this is a dairy free cake, then why does it have butter? I am a great fan of sponge. My favorite is chocolate orange. Divine!!
